In April 2024, I traveled to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, where I documented my perception during the encounter with the sublime soul of the city. The work entitled "Atman, Breath, Self or the Eye of the Spirit" is an attempt to abstract this experience, transforming it into a video art that captures the subtleties of everyday life in the Estonian capital, as well as the sound, visual and musical landscape that accompanied me, especially influenced by the work of Estonian composer Arvo Pärt.
Tallinn invited me to dive deeper into spirituality, revealing that documentation is not just an external representation, but also an internal exploration of the “self”, through our ability to perceive the reality in front of us.
I invite you to reflect on this sensory and meditative experience that inspired me to create this documentary art, which transcends the mere observation of our external world.
